Instead, whichever team has collected the most Gold at the end of 15 minutes is deemed the victor. Unlike most games, earning kills isn't the objective (however it helps). I'm a pretty crap builder, so if anyone wants to create a mock-map to display here, I'll be extremely appreciative! In the middle of the map is the Black Market, which opens up at 2:30 into the match to prevent a rush. Maps are oblong-shaped, mostly consist of water, with a few islands and both Cruisers at opposite ends of the map. You can take shots off the deck, climb up to the Crowsnest to provide your team with intelligence on the battle, or instead grab a Rowboat and head out into the fray, where boundless treasures await! The choice is yours to make, the game doesn't assign you a place! While inside your Cruiser, you're virtually invincible. You start with extremely basic gear, only holding an Iron Cutlass and a Bow with Standard Arrows, and wearing a basic set of Dyed Armor. When the game begins, each team (Dark Green V Gray, may be changed) spawns inside their Pirate Cruiser, a giant ship which serves as your base. You (and up to 15 teammates) face off in a 2 team, 16v16 battle to collect Gold and earn victory! Upgrade your weapons and purchase unique items that cause the game to never be played the same way twice! Pirate Battles is a simple game to understand, with many layers of tactics and complexity hidden inside.
